A source close to the Deol family revealed that Esha’s absence might be due to her mother, Hema Malini, also choosing not to attend the wedding. Esha was notably absent from Karan and Drisha’s pre-wedding festivities. However, there remains a possibility that Esha may attend the couple’s reception party, which will follow the grand wedding ceremony.
Another report claimed that Hema Malini would also refrain from attending Karan Deol’s wedding due to her prolonged distance from the Deol family. Elaborating on this, a family insider stated that Sunny Deol had sent invitations to Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, leaving open the possibility that the half-sisters might grace Karan and Drisha’s wedding.
The Deol family recently hosted a lavish sangeet ceremony for Karan and Drisha on June 16, 2023. Pictures from the event have been circulating on the internet, showcasing the couple’s stunning looks. For the pre-wedding ceremony, Karan and Drisha looked adorable as they walked hand-in-hand. Both donned blue-hued ensembles, radiating happiness and joy. Drisha chose a blue lehenga adorned with multi-hued floral motifs, paired with an off-shoulder blouse, an embellished dupatta, and exquisite jewelry. Karan, on the other hand, complemented her attire with a matching sherwani.
