Mumbai – Adipurush, the highly anticipated film featuring Prabhas, has met with a dismal fate at the box office, leading fans to blame filmmaker Om Ranaut for its failure. The movie witnessed a dramatic downfall on its first Monday, primarily due to the controversies surrounding it.
From poor visual effects to disrespectful dialogues and the alleged sexualization of Sita Maa, the film faced severe criticism. Many deemed Adipurush a disaster, with even the original cast of the iconic Ramayana TV series, helmed by Ramanand Sagar, condemning Om Ranaut for trivializing the epic and hurting people’s sentiments.
Adding to the backlash, self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R. Khan made a surprising claim, stating that it was not Prabhas but Kartik Aaryan who was initially approached for the role of Raghav in Adipurush.
