In a shocking incident, a 50-year-old man named Shah Alam, along with two accomplices, committed a heinous crime by kidnapping and sexually assaulting a girl student. The victim endured a harrowing ordeal as she was taken to Uttarakhand and subjected to repeated acts of rape by the accused.

The horrifying chain of events began when Shah Alam, a resident of the village, enticed the girl into his car under the pretext of dropping her off outside the village. However, instead of keeping his word, he resorted to threats, warning the girl of dire consequences if she dared to raise her voice against him. Intimidated and unable to muster a response, the girl was drugged and whisked away to an undisclosed location.

For a shocking span of five days, the victim was held captive by Shah Alam and his two friends, identified as Irfan and Nadeem. The accused took turns raping the helpless girl, subjecting her to unspeakable acts of violence and abuse. They continued to unleash a barrage of threats, instilling fear in her by claiming they would harm her family if she resisted their advances.

The case came to light when the girl mustered the courage to inform the authorities about her traumatic experience. Recounting her ordeal, she detailed the sequence of events, shedding light on the despicable actions of the perpetrators. The police promptly initiated an investigation, initially treating the case as a kidnapping. However, after considering the girl’s statement, they proceeded to charge the accused under various sections, including 363 (kidnapping), 366 (kidnapping, abducting, or inducing a woman to compel her marriage), 376(2) (rape), and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

During the course of their investigation, the police uncovered crucial details about Shah Alam. The 54-year-old had managed to befriend the minor girl from his own village, engaging in conversations that ultimately led to her entrapment. Shah Alam would relentlessly stalk the girl whenever she ventured outside the village, demonstrating a disturbing pattern of obsessive behavior.

On June 6th, the situation took a horrifying turn when Shah Alam kidnapped the girl. In an attempt to evade detection, he switched off his mobile phone. Acknowledging the complexities involved due to the involvement of different communities, SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary instructed Inspector Harendra Singh of Mirganj Police Station to take swift action and apprehend the culprits responsible for the girl’s plight. The police successfully traced the location of the accused, eventually locating Shah Alam in Uttarakhand.

In a significant breakthrough, all three accused individuals, Shah Alam, Irfan, and Nadeem, have been apprehended by law enforcement agencies. Their arrests bring hope for justice to the victim and serve as a reminder of the urgent need for society to prioritize the safety and well-being of its vulnerable members.
