Patna: There is going to be a Lok Sabha election in 2024, and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is making efforts to unite the opposition. He has met with several Chief Ministers of different states. According to reports, he is also receiving support from opposition leaders. A meeting of the opposition unity could be held soon. Amidst all this, political strategist Prashant Kishor has made a significant prediction. He released a statement on Monday (May 22).
Meeting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for the second time in 40 days, Prashant Kishor indirectly taunted Nitish Kumar and the JD(U), saying that it doesn’t make sense to talk much about what Nitish Kumar is doing today. Five years ago, Chandrababu Naidu was the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He was in the same role that Nitish Kumar is trying to assume today. Chandrababu Naidu was leading a majority government in Andhra Pradesh, while Nitish Kumar is currently running a minority government with 42 MLAs.
Nitish Kumar should be concerned about Bihar: Prashant Kishor
Prashant Kishor mentioned that Chandrababu Naidu traveled throughout the country during that period and tried to unite the opposition. As a result, in Andhra Pradesh, their MPs decreased, they won only 23 seats, and they were ousted from power. Nitish Kumar should be concerned about Bihar. Nitish Kumar does not have a secure position in Bihar. Today, the RJD has zero MPs in Bihar, and he is determining who will be the Prime Minister of the country. The party that doesn’t have a secure position itself is trying to bring together other parties.
‘Mark my words’
In his statement, Prashant Kishor further questioned if Nitish Kumar is ready to work with Mamata Banerjee and the Congress if he visits West Bengal. Is Nitish Kumar willing to give even a single seat to Lalu Yadav’s RJD in Bihar? Does Nitish Kumar know Mamata Banerjee better than us today? Who is asking Nitish Kumar in West Bengal? He said ‘Mark my words; Nitish Kumar will face the same fate as Chandrababu Naidu’
